Indian Shores is a small town in Pinellas County Florida. The population is roughly 2000, like other small Florida towns the population jumps in the winter months as a result of vacationing tourists. Indian Shores received its official town designation in 1949 when it was then known as Indian Rocks Beach. In 1973 the name was changed to Indian Shores.
